Sequential Typographic Forms in Space
Crop, shift, rotate and scale any letters from A to Z into the square spaces. The dynamic form/count form relationship, keeping in mind the interchangeability of the black and white spaces. Photocopy the cropped tracing, cut them out, and organize them horizontally, side by side to form a typographic image. I explored rhythmic patterns, visual transitions, and the flow of typographic elements. I created 4 squares using Didot and 4 squares using Gill Sans. The size of this squares are 5x5 inches.
